Hi there!
It's been a while, but I am back from the unexpected break. A lot has happened, here are some of the highlights from 2025:
- I traveled to Poland and gave a talk at wroclove.rb
- I went viral on X (opens in new tab)
- I organized an AI and Ruby hackathon (opens in new tab)
- I attended the SF Ruby Conf and caught up with Ruby friends traveling around the world.

Thoughts
I've landed on an agentic coding setup I'm happy with:
- Editor: Zed with no AI plugins my config (opens in new tab)
- AI: Claude Code primarily, occasionally opencode
- Multi-agent: Conductor (opens in new tab) when I want parallel agents
Shop
I read The Interior Design Handbook (opens in new tab) by Frida Ramstedt. It's the kind of book you'll want to keep on your shelf.
I haven't bought anything new lately, but I came across Alex Carpenter's curated list (opens in new tab). It's a highly curated collection of life-improving products. I'm planning to have something similar soon.
Joke
Why do some Ruby methods not gossip?
Because they prefer to keep things private.
That's all for now. Have a great week.
